Now into April the year is marching on and there have been some dreadful events that have left me angery and saddened. Living in a market town in suffolk we are so very lucky that we are able to enjoy our freedom and only witness what is going on via social media and the news. One of my new years resolutions was to help and give back via our Vanil shop, near and far. So in Jan I visited our own @stelizabethhospice to meet with Sara Nicholls who is passionate about creativity and inspires local crafts people to make beautiful collection under the Brand name, Made with Love. The visit touched my heart, I was moved with how this wonderful charity support and care for cancer patients during their illness and end of life. It’s a friendly face to have a chat, maybe have a pamper with a new hair do or simple to enjoy a meal with another. To help this wonderful team we are raising money from our stitch bunnies that have been lovingly hand stitched from upcycled embroidary fabric. Everyone is unique and just needs a home. The lovely WI ladies from Melton have Made with Love knitted bunting thats been re made from wool that was once a cardigan. The wool has been up cycled to put life back into a new creation. The colours are very Vanil, pretty pinks and greys.
All proceeds go to the charity, the Bunnies are £35.00 and the bunting is £13.00.
Our gorgeous local Illustrator @cherylrawlings also created the goregous Easter decorations which sold out in the first day. Thankyou.
Have a happy Easter Mx
